As a recent college graduate, I don’t have the wiggle room to spend a lot of money. However, keeping up with my social life means spending money. All. The. Time. Because of this, I feel like I’m pretty good at finding a good deal.

Of course, finding the cheapest of anything is not always the easiest. Much like department store shopping, you gotta dig to find the good stuff.

There’s no shortage of things to do in Fort Worth. From museums to restaurants to parks, the choices can be dizzying. There are bars in the West 7th business district, entertainment stages in the Stockyards and Sundance Square downtown continues to grow.

Some residents complain that our quaint city is becoming like Dallas — over-the-top expensive. I beg to differ. You can still find a good deal in Fort Worth, and I want to find them all.

That is why we are starting this column, to help you make the most of your pretty pennies.

Once a month, I’ll take Cowtown by the horns and ride down a budget-friendly trail.

I’ll tell you everything, no details left out. From parking, to ambiance, history, specialties, and of course — the cost. All you need is $20 to pay for tax, tip and all.

While I live in Fort Worth, I’m no expert. I need you to tell me what you want to see. What places are you curious about? Is there a restaurant that you have been dying to try? Or an experience for you and your family?

There is no limit, except for the cost.
