Tips for flying during Fourth of July weekend
DFW suggests:
Arrive at least two hours before departure. Multiple areas of the airport are under construction, and this might affect travel time to the airport.
For parking: “Garages at Terminals C and D tend to fill up faster than other garages,” according to a news release. “If C and D garages are full, those flying American Airlines can park, check in, check their bags and go through security in either Terminals A or B to expedite their time at DFW.”
If you need to move from terminal to terminal, use the Skylink.
Use the DFW mobile app to check security wait times and parking lot availability.
Love Field suggests:
Arrive at least two hours before departure.
Check your flight status before arriving at the airport.
Follow the airport on social media platforms to keep abreast of airport updates.
Remember that travelers without a REAL ID will face additional screening from TSA.
