There are 11 days out of the year when banks close. Christmas is one of them.
The Federal Bank Reserve declares the holidays in which banks around the country close their doors.
If the holiday falls on a Sunday, banks will remain closed the following Monday. Christmas Day is on Wednesday, Dec. 25 this year, so this rule does not apply.
But what about Christmas Eve?
What are Fort Worth bank hours on Christmas Eve?
If you need to deposit or withdraw money, be sure to do so before Dec. 25. Though Christmas Eve is not a bank holiday, some companies may close early. Banks in D-FW operate under the following hours on Christmas Eve:
Chase: 9 a.m to 1 p.m.
Wells Fargo: 9 a.m. to noon.
Bank of America: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Frost: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Truist: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Citi Bank: closed.
PNC: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bank of Texas: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
To be sure, check your closest bank’s hours online or by calling. You can still use mobile banking services or 24-hour ATMs during the holidays.
