Walmart has around 30 locations across Dallas-Fort Worth. A 2024 study revealed that the grocery store is the No. 5 cheapest in the country, making it a very popular place for Texans to shop at. Target is another wildly popular choice with about 20 stores across D-FW.
Wholesale grocers like Costco and Sam’s Club offer members bulk products which ultimately saves customer’s money. Both grocers have ranked in the top 10 for 2024 American Customer Satisfaction Index, according to CNBC.
But what about if you need some last-minute gifts or groceries?
Are Walmart, Target and Costco open on Christmas Eve?
While most Walmarts operate under the same schedule, it’s always a good idea to check your local Walmart’s hours. Find your closest Walmart here.
Walmart in Texas will be open for Christmas Eve from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. Sam’s Club will also be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Target will also be open on Christmas Eve from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To be sure, you can check your local store’s hours by finding the closest Target to you online.
Costco is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Costco is located on 5300 Overton Ridge Blvd in Fort Worth. Sam’s Club is on 4400 Bryant Irvin Rd, Fort Worth.
Are Walmart, Target and Costco open on Christmas Day?
Walmart, Target, Costco and Sam’s Club will not be open on Christmas Day. However, all are expected to resume normal hours on Dec. 26.
