New Year’s Eve is one of the biggest days of celebration in the country.
About 75% of adults plan to celebrate on Dec. 31, with people ages 30-44 among the most likely to party, according to a poll from the Associated Press and NORC at the University of Chicago.
A plethora of New Year’s Eve events are planned across Fort Worth. Here’s what to know.
Sundance Square
- When: 6 p.m.
- Where: Sundance Square Plaza in downtown Fort Worth
- Cost: Free
Sundance Square is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve celebration and fireworks show this year.
Entertainers such as jugglers, stilt walkers, trick ropers, aerialists and mimes are all set to perform in the plaza. Sundance Square’s 82-foot Norway Spruce Christmas tree will also still be up at the New Year’s Eve celebration.
The fireworks show will begin at midnight.
Billy Bob’s Texas
- When: 6 p.m.
- Where: 2520 Rodeo Plaza
- Cost: $25, purchase here
Gary Allan will ring in 2025 at Billy Bob’s Texas.
Allan takes over the main stage at the “World’s Largest Honky Tonk” at 10 p.m., while Dalton Torres will be on the Honky Tonk stage at 8 p.m. A champagne toast is set for midnight, along with four different balloon drops.
Fort Worth Museum of Science and History
- When: 10 a.m. to noon
- Where: 1600 Gendy St.
- Cost: Free with general admission purchase
The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is hosting a “Noon Year’s Eve” party on Dec. 31.
Guests will be able to learn about New Year’s resolutions, create their own crafts and watch a confetti drop at noon in the atrium. Access to the celebration is free with purchase of general admission to the museum.
Dickies Arena
- When: 7 p.m.
- Where: 1911 Montgomery St.
- Cost: Varies, purchase here
Flatland Calvary will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a concert at Dickies Arena.
This will be the first time the Lubbock band will headline a Fort Worth arena arena show. The Star-Telegram spoke with Flatland’s Cleto Cordero about the upcoming show, which can be read here.
Cowtown Coliseum
- When: 7:30 p.m.
- Where: 121 East Exchange Ave.
- Cost: $59, purchase here
The Professional Bull Riders organization is hosting its “Buckin’ New Year’s Eve” at Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Guests can expect a mix of bull riding and bullfighting, along with live music from three performers: Wynn Williams, Carson Jeffrey and Josh Gracin. A pyrotechnics display is set to go off at midnight.
