UPDATE: The child’s mother, stepfather and siblings left the country before the Amber Alert was issued, police said Sunday. Read the latest details here.

An Amber Alert was issued Saturday morning for a 6-year-old boy from Everman, police said.

The alert initially said that Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez was last seen around midnight Friday in the 3700 block of Wisteria Drive in Everman.

However, the Everman Police Department said in a release Saturday morning that Child Protective Services informed them that Noel hadn’t been seen by his family since November 2022. Information that Noel was with his father in Mexico proved to be false, authorities said.

“Noel suffers numerous physical and developmental challenges and family members have expressed great concern for his safety,” the release said.

Noel is Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes. There is no description of his weight and height. Officials believe he is in grave or immediate danger.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Noel’s mother, 37-year-old Cindy Cecilia Rodriguez-Singh. Authorities said she absconded, and they haven’t been able to locate her.

Rodriguez-Singh is a Hispanic woman, about 5 feet tall, weighing around 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and tattoos across her chest, according to information released by authorities.

Rodriguez-Singh may be accompanied by her other children — 5-month-old twins, and four others ages 7, 8, 9 and 11.

The suspect was last seen in Everman and is driving a gray 2012 Chevrolet Silverado with a mural of the Santa Muerte on the back window. The license plate number is PLS7091.
