A meteorologist for Dallas’ Fox 4 station recently announced she will be leaving, with her last day scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 30.

“Tomorrow will be my last day on Fox 4,” Julia Fife posted on Facebook Monday, Dec. 29. “What an honor it has been to work alongside legends in this industry that I’ve looked up to for so many years. Thank you DFW for welcoming me into your homes. It’s been a blast and a dream come true for this Texas girl. Stay tuned❤️”

Fife, a University of Texas alum and former Dallas Mavericks dancer, worked at Fox 4 as a traffic anchor in 2018 before taking a meteorologist job at Fox 13 in Memphis. She came back to Fox 4 this summer, taking over for Dylan Federico.

Fife is the fourth on-air personality to leave Fox 4 this year. Besides Federico, anchor Hanna Battah left in October to co-anchor “World News Now” and “Good Morning America First Look,” and weekday morning meteorologist Evan Andrews retired in October after more than 25 years with the station.
