Former Fox 4 anchor Hanna Battah is back on TV. Here’s where to watch her

Former Fox 4 anchor Hanna Battah has announced her new job after leaving the North Texas station in October.

Battah, a Minnesota native, wrote on Facebook earlier this week that she is joining ABC News to co-anchor “World News Now” and “Good Morning America First Look” with Sophie Flay.

In a bit of North Texas irony, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders appeared on “Good Morning America First Look” on Battah’s first day in New York City.

“If that’s not a good sign, I don’t know what is,” Battah wrote on Facebook. “A little Dallas love in New York is making me feel right at home.”

Battah grew up in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Missouri.

After college, Battah worked for KOMU-TV in Missouri for a few years and later moved to Bakersfield, Calif., to work at KBAK/KBFX. A couple of years there, and then Battah was off to North Texas.

Battah started at FOX 4 in June 2018 as a weekend morning anchor on the “Good Day” team, according to her Fox 4 profile. A few months later, she was a part of the weekday “Good Day” team.
