TCU football adds another veteran Big 12 cornerback from transfer portal

TCU football landed another veteran cornerback from the transfer portal Sunday.

Colorado cornerback Teon Parks committed to the Horned Frogs during his official visit to Fort Worth over the weekend. Parks is the 12th transfer portal commitment for TCU.

Listed at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Parks appeared in 10 games as a junior this season with five starts, producing 21 tackles and two pass breakups.

Parks started his career with two seasons at Illinois State, playing in 22 games with seven starts. The 2024 season was his best one, as he finished with 39 tackles, 11 pass breakups and an interception. Parks has played over 1,000 career snaps.

Parks is the second cornerback TCU has landed out of the portal, joining Central Michigan’s Kalen Carroll. The Horned Frogs also return starting corner Vernon Glover and promising true freshman Gil Jackson.
