You may have to take more road detours than you’re used to this long weekend in North Texas — several major roads will have construction detours, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

In addition to the stretch of Interstate 30 in Dallas that will be shut down, several Tarrant County roads will close this weekend as well. Here’s what to know.

Which Tarrant County roads are closed?

All free westbound lanes of I-820 from Rufe Snow Drive to I-35W will close from Friday night January 16 to Sunday morning January 18. However, the 820 toll lanes will be free during this time.

Parts of State Highways 121 and 183 will also be closed this weekend.

So whether you’re headed to the Stock Show and Rodeo or planning on going to the MLK Day Parade in Fort Worth, remember to slow down, watch for detour signs and make sure you give yourself ample travel time to reach your destination.
