Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani spotted at Mexican restaurant in Fort Worth Stockyards
A pair of music icons were recently spotted having dinner at a Mexican restaurant in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani visited Los Vaqueros this week, according to a Facebook post from the restaurant. The eatery has been open in the Stockyards since 1983 and moved locations last fall.
Both Shelton and Stefani posed for photos with restaurant staff during the visit. See them below.
“This is why Los Vaqueros in the Stockyards is the place to be!! Thank you to Blake Shelton/Gwen Stefani and their family for showing your support in the Stockyards and at Los Vaqueros!! They had a great time & we are SOOO grateful for all their support & generosity of spirit in supporting all of our fellow Texans & the relief efforts in Central Texas right now!” Los Vaqueros wrote on Facebook.
Shelton, Stefani fake claims in Central Texas flooding
Last week, Shelton and Stefani were the subject of a fact check by Snopes about claims they and Luke Bryan went to Central Texas to help victims displaced by flooding on the Fourth of July.
The posts, mostly circulated on Facebook, show fake photos of Shelton and Bryan on boats looking for flood survivors. Another post shows Shelton and Stefani passing out food and water.
Snopes found no evidence that any of the trio traveled to Texas to provide aid after the flooding. Furthermore, the publication said the photos associated with the posts were more than likely made with artificial intelligence.
The claim received a “false” rating from Snopes.
More on Shelton and Stefani
Shelton has performed in Fort Worth numerous times over his career, the latest coming at Texas Motor Speedway in 2022. He was the fall semester concert at TCU in 2012, celebrating the newly-renovated Amon G. Carter Stadium.
The “God’s Country” singer is also an executive producer on “The Road,” a new singing competition show that also counts “Landman” co-creator Taylor Sheridan as executive producer. “The Road” follows emerging musicians as they open for a headlining superstar (Keith Urban) at different venues across the country.
Earlier this year, the show filmed in Fort Worth at Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall and also spent a day in Dallas at The Bomb Factory. “The Road” will premiere on CBS this fall.
Stefani has also performed in Fort Worth a few times as a solo act and with her band No Doubt. She and Shelton met on “The Voice” in 2014 and later married in 2021.
