Fourth of July trash pickup schedule for Fort Worth, Arlington: What to know

Most city services in Fort Worth and Arlington will be closed for the Fourth of July, but what about garbage pickup?

There are plenty of places to watch fireworks in North Texas on the patriotic holiday. For those traveling to the Metroplex for the Fourth, it’s expected to be a busy few days for Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field.

Trash pickup in Fort Worth will operate as normal on the Fourth, according to the city.

In Arlington, there will be no trash pickup on the Fourth of July. Instead, Friday trash will be picked up on Saturday, July 5, according to the city. Trash pickup will then resume normal pickup on Monday, July 8.
