Fort Worth ISD school closures

Officials in the Fort Worth Independent School District say that closing and consolidating more than a dozen campuses will save the district millions of dollars over the next four years, allowing them to redirect more money toward academic priorities.

The Fort Worth school board sealed the fate of 18 campuses on May 20, voting to close them over the next four years.

For parents, former students, teachers and staff, and the neighborhoods around these schools, these are more than just buildings. They are where our children grew up. They serve as anchors in our communities. They hold millions of memories over many decades.
