American Airlines adds winter daily flights to these four international cities
Fort Worth-based American Airlines is adding daily flights out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to London, New Zealand, Australia and Argentina during the 2025 winter season.
Not only are there new flights, but American is also adding a new aircraft: the Boeing 787-9. This plane offers the Flagship Suite seats that are a step up from Premium Economy. These new seats are sleep-focused and include pillows, duvets, slippers, pajamas and fleece blankets.
“London is one of the most in-demand cities for premium travel, and American is the largest U.S. airline flying to LHR,” the airline wrote in a news release. “This winter, American will offer up to 1,500 daily premium seats to LHR.”

When will American offer new routes out of DFW?
American Airlines is the only airline to offer routes from DFW to Auckland and Brisbane.
Here’s when you can go:
DFW to Auckland, New Zealand (AKL): One daily service starts Jan. 5, 2026 and goes until March 28, 2026.
DFW to Brisbane, Australia (BNE): One daily service starts Oct. 25, 2025 and goes until March 28, 2026.
DFW to Buenos Aires, Argentina (EZE): One daily service starts Oct. 26, 2025 and goes until Jan. 5, 2026.
DFW to London, England (LHR): One daily service (AA78 and AA79) begins Oct. 26, 2025 and goes until Jan. 5, 2026. Then, two daily services (adding AA20 and AA21) will begin Dec. 3, 2025 and goes until Jan. 5, 2026.
When can I start booking these new routes?
Flights to all four cities are available for booking now.

Non-stop flights to EZE are available with Flagship Suite offerings. Standard ticket pricing starts at $1,200. Flagship pricing begins at $5,400.
Non-stop flights to LHR are available with Flagship offerings (Flagship is different from Flagship Suite– the suite is a fully-enclosed first-class experience). Standard ticket pricing starts at $850. Flagship pricing begins at $7,000.
