How to help Texas flood victims in Kerrville, Hill Country and camp communities
If you want to help those affected by the deadliest flood in Texas to date, here’s what you can do.
State and local officials report more than 100 people are confirmed dead and dozens more are still missing. Texas officials called for federal disaster relief due to the damage.
Whether your family is impacted, or you just want to help, there are many options to both give and receive aid. Here’s what to know.
Where to volunteer
Kerville officials have actually asked self-deployed volunteers to refrain from coming in efforts to not overcomplicate things.

Item donations:
Salvation Army’s Kerrville Kroc Center is asking for non-perishables, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, baby wipes, and more. You can see specific needs on their Facebook. Donations can be dropped off at 855 Hays St. in Kerrville.
Robertson County Sheriff’s office, Back the Blue Cafe, and Henry Prairie Baptist Church in Franklin need donations of water, Gatorade, and snacks. Donations can be dropped off at the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office.
Rudder FFA is collecting gift cards, cleaning supplies, bedding and baby items. Drop-off is Monday and Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at 3251 Austins Colony Parkway, Bryan.

For those who are still missing a loved one, here’s how you can find them.
Email kerrvillemissing@dps.texas.gov with the missing person’s name, description and any photos that may help.
