- What else to know: Culinary instructor Natasha Bruton co-founded what’s now The Pantry on Magnolia, serving an Asian fusion menu with Texas twists. Dumplings include al pastor, Japanese beef stew, elotes, loaded baked potato and chicken tinga. Other options are bao buns; okonomiyaki waffles stuffed with brisket or fried tofu; banh mi Vietnamese sandwiches; and stir-fried noodles (”Arguably the most addicting thing on the menu.”) The restaurant is open Fridays and Saturdays, 11 a.m.-midnight, and Sundays, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. See the menu.
