Where can you find the best hot dog in the Fort Worth area? Tell us your favorite

It’s almost summertime in Texas, and you know what that means — it’s hot dog season. There’s no shortage of fine places to find some franks around Fort Worth, but we want to know: Where can you find the best hot dog?

Maybe you’re a purist and only eat hot dogs at the ballpark, or maybe you’re a fan of the $1.50 Costco special. Or maybe your favorite bar has their own take on a hot dog that’s too good to pass up. Whatever it is, we want to hear.

Fill out the nomination form below with your top pick. If you have more than one favorite, you can refresh the page and nominate another spot.

Next week, we’ll compile your recommendations and put them to a vote.

Here are the details:

  • The first round will determine the Top 20. It will be live from 2 p.m. Monday, June 9 until 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 11.

  • The second round will determine the Top 15. It will live from about 2 p.m. June 11 until 2 p.m. Friday, June 13.

  • The third round will determine the Top 10. It will live from about 2 p.m. June 13 until 2 p.m. Monday, June 16.

  • The fourth round will determine the Top 5. It will be live from about 2 p.m. June 16 until 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18.

  • The fifth round will determine the Top 2. It will be live from about 2 p.m. June 18 until 2 p.m. Friday, June 20.

  • The final round will determine the winner. It will be live from about 2 p.m. June 20 until 2 p.m. Monday, June 23.
