TCU and Dallas Wings fans react to action-packed 2026 WNBA draft

Monday’s WNBA draft was historic for TCU women’s basketball, with guard Olivia Miles becoming the program’s highest selection ever and three Horned Frogs being taken for the first time.

Miles went No. 2 overall to the Minnesota Lynx. Forward Marta Suárez went No. 16 overall to the Seattle Storm before being traded to the Golden State Valkyries, and guard Taylor Bigby was taken No. 37 overall by the expansion Portland Fire before being traded to the Connecticut Sun.

On top of Fort Worth’s success on Monday, the Dallas Wings had the first overall pick and selected UConn guard Azzi Fudd, setting up a backcourt tandem with her former Husky teammate Paige Bueckers.
