Freezing temperatures and rain in the mix for Dallas-Fort Worth. See the weekly forecast
Dallas-Fort Worth will warm up and cool off this week, ahead of rain arriving over the weekend.
Temperatures on Monday, Dec. 9, will warm up to the upper 60s and low 70s, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. By late Monday, a cold front will make its way over the North Texas region.
Tuesday, Dec. 10, will be a chilly day with temperatures in the mid-40s, according to the NWS. Freezing temperatures are possible overnight Tuesday going into Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Both Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 12, are expected to be sunny and cool, with temperatures in the low 60s.
Rain chances return over the weekend
After a previously rainy weekend in Dallas-Fort Worth, rain chances return heading into Friday, Dec. 13.
Currently, there’s a 20% chance of showers during the day on Friday and 30% overnight, per the NWS. Showers are expected to stick around on Saturday, Dec. 14, with a 20% chance of rain.
