A cold front is expected to blow through North Texas on Thursday morning, drastically dropping temperatures and causing high winds. Wind chills as low as -15 degrees are likely, according to the NWS. Hypothermia could be a result of wind chills if precautions are not taken.

About 20 to 30 mph winds and 35 to 45 mph gusts are expected, according to the NWS. There will be about a 10% chance of light rain or snow in the northeast and eastern Texas.
