Fort Worth-filmed ‘Landman’ sets season 2 release date. Watch the first trailer
Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” will premiere its second season this fall.
Paramount announced Wednesday, Aug. 13 that season 2 of the oil drama series will premiere on Paramount+ on Sunday, Nov. 16. The premiere date tees up an almost identical release strategy to season 1, which ran from November 2024 to January 2025.
In addition to the premiere date, Paramount released a new 15-second trailer with footage from the new season. Watch it below.
‘Landman’ season 2 trailer breakdown
The teaser trailer opens with a shot of a pumpjack and quickly transitions to Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris on site.
James Jordan’s Dale is heard saying, “We got a gusher, boys,” as the camera lingers on Tommy’s exasperated face. Tommy is then heard offscreen saying, “Get everybody back.”
A dusty, rising pressure gauge enters the screen as someone from the background yells, “What are you doing?”
“What do you think I’m doing?” an agitated Tommy yells back.
The trailer then cuts to a title sequence, which reveals the Nov. 16 premiere date.
