Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” will release season 2 a month later than previously stated.

In mid-May, Paramount co-CEO Chris McCarthy said the Fort Worth-filmed series would debut its new season on Paramount+ in November. This release window was in keeping with the show’s first season, which also premiered in the same month last year.

During Paramount’s second quarter earnings call on July 31, McCarthy unveiled release windows for several of the company’s Sheridan-created shows.

The Sylvester Stallone-led “Tulsa King” will premiere season 3 in September, followed by “Mayor of Kingstown” season 4 in October and “Landman” season 2 in December.

What does this mean for ‘Landman’ fans?

That fans will have to wait just a little longer to see Billy Bob Thornton and crew back on the small screen.

The show filmed season 1 in and around Fort Worth from February to June last year. For season 2, cameras began rolling in Cowtown in March and production remains ongoing into August.

However, it appears that the show is wrapping up production soon, according to an Instagram post from star Ali Larter on July 24.

“Finishing strong with the best of the best,” she wrote on a collage of pictures featuring many of the show’s cast.
