‘Landman’ films in downtown Fort Worth this week. Here’s how you could be on it
“Landman” is looking to cast extras as filming in downtown Fort Worth continues this week.
The Paramount+ series is setting up shop in downtown this week (June 24-26) to film season 2 scenes around the area, including at 61 Osteria and the Worthington Renaissance Hotel. Several roads will be closed and street parking will not be permitted in some areas. Find all the closures here.

- Downtown street pedestrians- Legacy is looking for downtown pedestrians for an exterior restaurant scene. The pay is $110 for 10 hours of work. Apply here.

“Landman” is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.”
The Billy Bob Thornton-led series premiered on Paramount+ in November 2024 and wrapped its 10-episode first season on Jan. 12. The drama is co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, who created the “Boomtown” Texas Monthly podcast that the show is based on.
“Landman” season 1 starred Thornton, Demi Moore, Jon Hamm, Paulina Chávez, Jacob Lofland, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Colm Feore and Mark Collie. Michael Peña, Andy Garcia and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appeared in guest roles.
