28-year-old man killed in third Sunday morning shooting, Fort Worth police say
A 28-year-old man was shot and killed after an argument at an east Fort Worth home on Sunday, June 15, police said.
Officers responded to a call about the shooting shortly after 9 a.m. near the 6500 block of Routt Street.
When officers arrived they found 28-year-old James Lynn Marshall with gunshot wounds to his torso in the back yard of a house in the 3000 block of Forest Avenue.
Marshall was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, police said.
Detectives determined that the victim was having an argument with an unidentified suspect just prior to shots being fired, police said.
Police said homicide detectives are investigating the shooting. No arrests have been made.

This was one of three fatal shootings in Fort Worth on Sunday morning, and two more people were killed in a shooting Sunday night, according to police.
A 19-year-old man was killed and two other people were injured in a shooting at a house party on North Houston Street about 12:30 a.m.
A 24-year-old man died after he was shot multiple times near a residence in the 3000 block of Conejos Drive, in west Fort Worth.
A fourth Sunday morning shooting, on Lynnhaven Road, left a victim hospitalized in critical condition, according to MedStar.
A 16-year-old and a 25-year-old man died in the double homicide on Sunday night.
