1 victim critically injured in east Fort Worth shooting, police say

One person was wounded in a shooting on Sunday morning, June 15, in east Fort Worth, police said.

Officers responded to the shooting about 7:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of Lynnhaven Road.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man who was shot in the abdomen, a police spokesperson said.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to MedStar.

The gang unit will be investigating the shooting, police said.

Multiple shootings reported Sunday

Fort Worth police also are investigating three separate fatal shootings that occurred Sunday morning.

A 19-year-old man was killed and two other people were injured in a shooting at a house party on North Houston Street about 12:30 a.m.

A man died after he was shot multiple times near a residence in the 3000 block of Conejos Drive, in west Fort Worth. A suspect was arrested in that case, according to jail records.

Another victim, who has not yet been publicly identified, was fatally shot after an argument in the back yard of a home in the 3000 block of Forest Avenue on the city’s east side.
