Three people were separately shot to death over 19 hours on Sunday in Fort Worth, including a male whose body was found late in the day at a park.

The third homicide victim was shot multiple times and discovered about 11 p.m. lying on the ground at the edge of Carter Park in south Fort Worth, according to a Fort Worth Police Department spokesperson.

Witnesses reported finding the victim a few minutes after he was shot.

The assailants in each of the killings left the scenes before an officer arrived, and the police department has not announced an arrest in the homicides.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released the names or ages of the homicide victims.

About 12 hours before the Carter Park killing, a man was found shot to death at a condominium in the 4000 block of Ridglea Country Club Drive in west Fort Worth, police said.

About 4:30 a.m., a person was shot to death during an argument in a parking lot near a nightclub in the 2300 block of South Riverside Drive, police said. A second person who was shot at the same time survived.

In another Tarrant County shooting late Sunday, two men were found dead at a residence in Watauga, police said. A suspect was taken into custody in that double homicide.
