Two men shot in double homicide at Watauga home; suspect in custody, police say
Watauga police are investigating a double homicide in which two men were shot Sunday night at a home in the 6000 block of Storm Drive.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the neighborhood at 11:18 p.m., police said in a news release. While investigating that call, the officers received information about the shooting and found the two men dead at a nearby residence.
A suspect was taken into custody, police said.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the suspect or the victims.
Police are investigating what led to the shooting and said that no additional information is being released as of early Monday morning.
