Two of North Texas’ biggest theme parks are looking to hire more than 1,400 seasonal employees.

Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor Arlington announced plans Feb. 4 to fill jobs for the 2026 season. Both parks are located within minutes of each other along Interstate 30 in Arlington.

Six Flags is hosting a week-long hiring event from Feb. 14 to 22. Hurricane Harbor will also host in-person hiring on Feb. 28 and March 1.

“We are so excited for the new season and all that Six Flags Over Texas has to offer for the 65th anniversary season including the opening of Tormenta Rampaging Run, a record-breaking coaster set to change the Arlington skyline,” human resources manager Nikki Rosenboom said in a press release.

How to apply for jobs at Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor

Six Flags is hiring for retail, security, admissions, food and beverage, ride operations, park service team and more.

Hurricane Harbor is looking to fill roles including food service, security, lifeguards, park services and cabana servers.

You can apply online. There’s a search function that allows applicants to find jobs for either park. Applicants must be at least 15 years old.

For those looking to apply in-person, here’s what to know.

Six Flags

  • When: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Feb. 14-22
  • Where: 2201 E. Road to Six Flags St., Arlington
  • Notes: Applicants are encouraged to apply online before attending the hiring event to expedite the interview process. Once registered online, arrival instructions will be shared with the applicant.

Hurricane Harbor

  • When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 28 and March 1
  • Where: 1800 E. Lamar Blvd., Arlington
  • Notes: Same requirements mentioned above.

What’s new at Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor for the 2026 season?

Six Flags opens its season on Feb. 28, while Hurricane Harbor begins its on May 16.

The “one-of-a-kind thrill ride” Tormenta Rampaging Run will open at Six Flags this year. The ride will be the tallest, fastest, longest and first-ever “giga” dive coaster in the world, according to the park.

Hurricane Harbor opened its 58,000-square-foot family area called Splash Island last summer. The multi-level play structure has 110 interactive water features, 17 slides and a 1,000-gallon tipping water bucket.
