A longtime Fort Worth restaurant is closing its doors. Here’s when
Sam Won Garden in south Fort Worth announced their final day serving customers will be Saturday, Sept. 27.
In a Facebook post on Sept. 19, the Korean restaurant announced that they have seven days left. Customers responded with sadness saying they will be missed.
Sam Won has been run by the Chung family since 2005. The restaurant made it through the pandemic and the tragic passing of Own Chung in 2022. Wife of Own, Sylvia is retiring which is why they are closing the doors.
The restaurant follows a string of other restaurants closing in the metroplex — a few of them being Belzoni’s Catfish Cafe, Meat U Anywhere, La Familia, Colossal Sandwich Shop and Bar Louie in Arlington.
Here’s what customers need to know about Sam Won’s final few days.
