Fast food chain with steakburgers and custard shakes is coming to Fort Worth soon

Burleson, Mansfield and Keller all have a Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers — but now, Fort Worth willfinally get one, too.

This is the Kansas-based fast food chain’s first Fort Worth location. It’s known for its creamy custard milkshakes and crispy fried smash burgers. They also sell hot dogs, fries and chicken sandwiches.

The Star-Telegram spoke with Freddy’s and got some details. Here’s what we know.

When will Freddy’s open in Fort Worth?

The fast food chain is on track to open in late July 2025, according to a Freddy’s spokesperson.

In a few weeks, they will be looking for around 50 new team members. If you are interested in applying, you can find their job listing on their website.

Where will Freddy’s be located in Fort Worth?

Freddy’s will be located at 9212 Summer Creek Drive in southwest Fort Worth. The restaurant will be right off Chisholm Trail Tollroad by Chisholm Trail Park.

There are a few neighboring restaurants. The closest is actually another custard shop– Andy’s Frozen Custard, less than a mile away. Sonic and Whataburger are also close by.

In case you want to try Freddy’s before it opens in July, you can venture out to any of the other Dallas-Fort Worth locations.
