What to know about Whataburger’s new line of summer drinks: prices, flavors
Whataburger is launching a fresh line of items on its menu next month.
The “Whatafreshers” line, available for a limited time, will debut on July 1 with the Prickly Pear Raspberry Whatafresher at participating locations.
The new platform of Whatafreshers is meant to cool customers off during the summer heat and deliver “serious flavor,” according to a news release.
The Whatafresher is the first refresher line at Whataburger, Donna Tuttle, vice president of marketing communications at Whataburger, told the Star-Telegram. She noted its boldness in both color and flavor.
“We wanted something that was hard to ignore, kind of undeniably fabulous,” Tuttle said. “It’s kind of like summer in a cup, and I think people are going to love it.”
What is a Whatafresher?
“Whatafreshers are artfully blended to deliver a full sensory experience — bold ingredients, radiant colors, and cooling revitalization all in one cup,” Whataburger President and Chief Executive Officer Debbie Stroud wrote in the news release.
The Prickly Pear Raspberry Whatafresher, launching alongside Whataburger’s first-ever craft lemonade, is made with real raspberries and lemon citrus with a prickly pear twist, according to the news release.
The Prickly Pear Raspberry Whatafresher will be available until the end of 2025 for $3.69 16-ounce cups and $3.99 20-ounce cups at all Whataburger locations. Find your nearest Whataburger here.
Whataburger will also reveal the identity of its digital spokesperson on social media on July 2. Tuttle said that the spokesperson would be a personification of the Prickly Pear Raspberry Whatafresher.
“She’s got quick wit, killer style, and she’s arriving just in time to introduce the world to the Prickly Pear Raspberry Whatafresher,” the news release reads.
