‘The Madison’ star Michelle Pfeiffer teases season 2 of North Texas-filmed show

Michelle Pfeiffer recently gave a preview about what to expect in “The Madison” season 2.

The Taylor Sheridan-created series premiered its six-episode first season in March on Paramount+, and was renewed for a third season around a month later. The show has already filmed its second season, which currently does not have a release date.

“The Madison” is described as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family (the Clyburns) in the Madison River valley of central Montana.”

In a recent conversation with the Los Angeles Times, Pfeiffer spoke about what fans can expect in season 2. Here’s what she said.

Pfeiffer was asked to share where her character, Stacy Clyburn, goes emotionally in season 2.

“I will say that the reality of really what it means to be there, without the skill sets to be there, it starts to sink in more and more as season 2 goes on,” Pfeiffer said. “It becomes harder and more dangerous and begins to unravel.”

In the closing minutes of “The Madison” season finale, Pfeiffer’s Stacy returns to Montana without informing her family, who are in New York.

Reading into Pfeiffer’s comments, it appears that Stacy may try to live in Montana rather than just staying for a few days. Moving into her husband Preston’s (Kurt Russell) cabin and roughing it in the wilderness would be a change for Stacy, who is a city dweller.

It’s unclear how the rest of the family will react to this news, and/or if any of them plan to join her.
