Taylor Sheridan’s ‘The Madison’ wraps filming on season 2 in North Texas
Taylor Sheridan’s “The Madison” has wrapped season 2 filming in North Texas.
The Michelle Pfeiffer-led show already filmed its first season in Montana and North Texas last year, but has not released any episodes yet. The show is described as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.”
Production on the second go-around began in September in Montana, and moved to North Texas for a few weeks earlier this month. Filming in the Metroplex took place in Dallas and Fort Worth.
On Saturday, Dec. 20, cast member Elle Chapman posted an Instagram story confirming that the show had wrapped production on its second season.
“And that’s a wrap on season 2. Heart is full,” the caption on the post read.
Coming soon: ‘The Madison’
“The Madison” is a “Yellowstone” spinoff, but it’s unclear how the two shows are connected.
The show’s first season had a similar production timeline, beginning in the fall and wrapping before the holidays. Season 1 filming also started in Montana and finished in North Texas.
In addition to Pfeiffer, “The Madison” stars Kurt Russell, Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Elle Chapman, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova and Kevin Zegers.
No release date has been set for the show.
