Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff ‘The Madison’ wraps filming in North Texas
Taylor Sheridan’s “Yellowstone” spinoff “The Madison” wrapped filming in North Texas late last month.
“The Madison” has been described as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.” While unclear how it connects to “Yellowstone,” “The Madison” will star Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams and Matthew Fox.
The show began production in Montana in late August 2024 and moved south to Texas later that fall.
After filming scenes in Fort Worth and Dallas, “The Madison” wrapped production in North Texas in mid-December 2024.
Several cast members took to social media to share the news, including Patrick J. Adams who posted a few photos of the cast celebrating at Arlington’s Six Flags Over Texas.
“Proud of my family and fellow cast and crew of ‘The Madison’ for leaving no stone unturned, no loop unlooped, no funnel cake undevoured,” Adams wrote. “We came to win and win we did.”
“The Madison” was just one of the Taylor Sheridan-created series to film in Fort Worth last year.
The Billy Bob Thornton-led “Landman” filmed in and around Cowtown during the spring. Over the summer, Fort Worth welcomed production on the second season of the Zoe Saldaña’s spy series “Lioness.”
Even “Yellowstone” spent a day filming scenes in Fort Worth in the fall.
No release date has been announced for “The Madison,” but it will likely air sometime this year.
