Dave & Buster’s is finally coming to Fort Worth. Here’s where, what we know

Arlington and Dallas already have a Dave & Buster’s and soon, Fort Worth will have one, too.

The Coppell-based arcade and restaurant is a family friendly scene for kids to play video games and adults to have a drink and play pool.

There are already four Dave & Buster’s in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex — in Arlington, Dallas, Euless and Frisco. The first-ever Dave & Buster’s actually opened in Dallas in 1982. The Arlington location opened in 2008 and got a new update this year that finished in April.

Here’s what we know about the new Fort Worth location.

Where will Dave & Buster’s be in Fort Worth?

According to city planning documents, the new Dave & Buster’s will be located in south Fort Worth “at the northeast corner of McAlister and Ware Ranch Trail” near Burleson. The work location listed on the planning document is 251 E. McAlister Road.

There are no confirmed details on when construction will begin or a time frame for opening date.

About Dave & Buster’s

Dave & Buster’s has 171 locations across North America, with 16 of those in Texas.

The company also operates a popular laser tag, bowling and virtual reality space called Main Event. There are two Main Events in Fort Worth, one located at 4801 Citylake Blvd. W. and the other at 2601 Presidio Vista Drive.

To play at Dave & Buster’s, guests charge up a reloadable card (physical or on your phone) with money to access arcade and video games. Winning games give guests tickets, which they can turn in for prizes.

Dave & Buster’s offers a full menu with bar bites like sliders and fried pickles but also full-on entrees like ribs and flatbread pizzas. They also have alcoholic beverages ranging from wine and beer to cocktails.

All DFW locations open at 10 a.m. and close at midnight, or later depending on the day.
