Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys’ Brett Maher did something no kicker has done in 4 years. It’s not good.

Another week, another Brett Maher miss.

The Dallas Cowboys’ kicker missed a 42-yard field goal attempt in the second quarter Thursday night against the Chicago Bears. It’s his 10th miss this season. That’s more than any other kicker in each of the past four seasons.

The Cowboys worked out three kickers earlier this week after Maher missed twice last week against the Buffalo Bills.

Maher, who became the first kicker in the history of the NFL to make at least three field goals from at least 60 yards earlier this season, has struggled to make more moderate attempts.
