Cowboys brought the ugly back with them from New England in first half vs. Bills

The ugliness from last week in New England came back to North Texas with the Dallas Cowboys.

Dallas trails the Buffalo Bills 13-7 after an ugly and awkward first half in which Dak Prescott threw an interception, lost a fumble and Brett Maher missed a 35-yard field goal.

The Cowboys even went for it on 4th and inches at their own 20 and got the first down (on a Prescott sneak) but were forced to punt several plays later.

The Bills missed a PAT after scoring on a fake reverse pass when receiver John Brown hit a wide open Devin Singletary down the sideline for a 28-yard touchdown pass. Buffalo tied the game at 7-7 on former Cowboy Cole Beasley’s 25-yard catch from Josh Allen. Both scores came in the second quarter.

The Cowboys scored on Prescott’s 8-yard pass to Jason Witten to cap a 75-yard, nine-play drive on their first possession of the game.

But since that drive, the Cowboys only have 138 yards of offense.
