Three Cowboys’ defensive starters unavailable against Bills

The Dallas Cowboys will be without safety Jeff Heath against the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving.

The game starts at 3:30 p.m. and will air on CBS (KTVT/Ch. 11).

Heath did not practice this week after injury his shoulders last week against the Patriots. Heath has missed just three games since joining the Cowboys in 2013.

Defensive tackle Antwaun Woods is also out with a shoulder injury. Linebacker Leighton Vander Esch will miss his second consecutive game with a neck injury.

Other inactive player are receivers Cedric Wilson and Devin Smith, defensive end Joe Jackson and guard Brandon Knight.
