Watch emotional Jim Kelly video that had everyone tearing up before Cowboys-Bills game

Fans were crying before the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Buffalo Bills even started on Thanksgiving Day.

We’re talking real tears and football had little to do with it.

CBS ran an emotional video to open their broadcast of the 3:30 p.m. game from AT&T Stadium starring Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly.

The premise was simple: Kelly, sitting in his living room and looking directly into the camera, described some of the challenges he has faced in his life, including losing four Super Bowls, the tragic loss of his son to a rare disease at age 8 and his own battle with jaw cancer. Kelly announced in January that he was cancer free.

The stirring interview included vintage footage from Kelly’s career on and off the field. By the end of it, Kelly reminds you to be thankful. Thankful, indeed.
