If his Twitter account is to be believed, Dez Bryant wants to return to the Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones looks says his team has not had a No. 1 receiver in years, which is seemingly a subtle shot at the decline in production of Dez Bryant before he was released in April.

Dez Bryant wants the Dallas Cowboys to re-sign him.

In fact, he wants to play for the franchise that drafted him above all others.

On Tuesday, Bryant got on Twitter and made that sentiment very clear.

This season, the wide receiver has been very active on social media. He criticized the Cowboys during their losses to the Panthers and Seahawks.

He also praised the Cowboys during their wins over the Giants and Lions.

Owner Jerry Jones and the organization cut Bryant last spring.

Since then, Bryant has turned down a contract offer from at least the Ravens. He also met with the Cleveland Browns, but the two sides did not come to an agreement.

Bryant also got sparred with Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee and other members of the organization during training camp.
