Keller Central’s DJ Graham, a 2-way star the past 3 years, signs NLI with Oklahoma

Keller Central 4-star athlete DJ Graham signed his national letter of intent with the University of Oklahoma on Wednesday during the early signing period.

Graham has been committed to OU since February. He had 22 offers, including 18 from a Power Five school. Other offers included Ohio State, LSU, Notre Dame, Baylor and Georgia.

Graham was a two-way starter for the Central Chargers at receiver and cornerback.

According to MaxPreps, Graham made 156 catches for 2,071 yards and 17 TDs in his career. He had a career-high 54 receptions this season along with 508 yards and two TDs.

Graham finished with 2,989 all-purpose yards.

On the defensive side, Graham posted 88 tackles, 11 interceptions, 19 pass deflections and recovered two fumbles in three years. He had a career-high six picks this season.

Graham was named Built Ford Tough 6A player of the week from Week 10. He was also voted Star-Telegram defensive POTW after having two INTs, one returned 104 yards for a TD, a 63-yard fumble return, seven tackles, a 20-yard punt return and two catches on offense during the Chargers’ 21-0 win over Timber Creek.

The Chargers started the season 3-0 and 6-1 before ending 7-4 in the bi-district round.

Graham, who was 6A all-state honorable mention as a sophomore, is ranked as the No. 22 ATH in the nation and No. 64 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports.

Central LB Chakka Garnett also signed his NLI on Wednesday with Missouri State.
