Introducing the top 15 wide receivers and tight ends to watch.

1. Brock Boyd, Senior, Southlake Carroll

Brock Boyd was a key player who powered the Dragons to the Class 6A Division II state championship game last season. Defenses threw the whole kitchen sink at him, including constant double teams, yet Boyd still found a way to tally 1,868 yards and 19 touchdowns on 112 receptions. In 2025, they’ll focus even harder on Boyd, who tends to find a way to be ultra productive.

2. Damarion Mays, Sophomore, North Crowley

When it comes to sophomores to watch in Dallas-Fort Worth, North Crowley’s Damarion Mays sits at the top of the list. Within a Panther offense that will need rising stars after the graduation of Star-Telegram Player of the Year Quentin Gibson, Mays has a chance to shine and dominate.

As a freshman, he tallied 1,640 yards and 16 TDs at Dallas Life Oak Cliff. He has offers from elite programs such as Georgia, Ohio State, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and more.

3. Kaydon Finley, Senior, Aledo

Finley, who committed to Notre Dame in early July, is undoubtedly one of the best receivers in Dallas-Fort Worth, and will find a way to shine. He tallied 1,432 yards and 21 touchdowns on 81 receptions en route to Max Preps All-American and Star-Telegram All-Area First Team honors.

Robinson, a Michigan commit, put up 532 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior within a well-rounded offense. As a senior, his workload could skyrocket, considering standout WR Jacobe Hayes is now with the TCU Horned Frogs. Robinson is a highly respected recruit and is ranked as the No. 7 class of 2026 receiver in the nation by 247Sports.

Osunde-Brown, a three-star wide receiver, is a rising star within a Volunteer offense that will look for playmakers to take increased responsibility. In 2024, he tallied 439 yards and four TDs. 8. Khamill Pruitt, Senior, Arlington Lamar

Pruitt was solid last year for the Vikings, tallying 385 yards and five touchdowns. 9. Jeramie Cooper, Junior, North Crowley

With a 6-foot-4, 230-pound frame, Cooper helped power North Crowley to a state title. Elite college programs have started to take notice of his talents; Cooper has a four-star 247Sports composite rating with offers from Alabama, Baylor, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and many more. He is the No. 44-ranked class of 2027 player in Texas.

10. Hudson Reasor, Senior, FW All Saints

As the Saints look to defend their TAPPS Division II state title, they’ll rely on Reasor, a Dave Campbell’s Texas Football three-star with a 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame. In 2024, he put up some great numbers: 535 yards and five touchdowns.

Reasor, a Colgate pledge, could improve on those numbers with increased opportunity. He’ll catch passes from Gavin Beard, a transfer from Aledo who is a proven talent.

11. Aiden Mackey, Senior, Azle

In terms of production, Aiden Mackey is one of the best in the Fort Worth-area. He put up 672 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns, helping the Hornets make the playoffs.

As Brock eyes a deep run in Class 4A Division II, expect Matlock to be a driving force. Dave Campbell’s Texas Football named him the district’s preseason defensive MVP.

13. Aiden Whitmore, Senior, North Crowley

At North Crowley football, there is a constant question: Who is the next man up? As an all-around athlete who also plays basketball, Whitmore is a prime candidate for a more prominent role. He has a 6-foot-4 frame with offers from Grambling State, North Texas and UTSA.
