Michigan received a commitment from four-star Mansfield wide receiver Zion Robinson on Wednesday.
Robinson, the No. 10 class of 2026 recruit in Texas and the No. 71 recruit in the nation according to 247Sports, is arguably the top pass catcher in the Lone Star state. He announced his commitment on Instagram Live.
Robinson had offers from TCU, Miami, Stanford, Nebraska, Baylor, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M and more.
Robinson was a key force in one of the best offenses in the Fort Worth-area with Mansfield. He caught 42 passes for 527 yards and eight touchdowns. With a 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame, Robinson has stellar upside with a great combination of size and speed.
Zion Robinson’s father, Khadevis Robinson, is the director of track and field at TCU and a two-time Olympian. As a college athlete with the Frogs, Khadevis won the NCAA outdoor championship in the 800-meter. He is a four-time U.S. indoor and outdoor champion.
Zion Robinson is the No. 1-ranked skill player recruit in the Fort Worth-area. When it comes to the Fort Worth-area, only two recruits rank above him: Mansfield Lake Ridge five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo and North Crowley four-star offensive lineman John Turntine III.
Robinson, a multisport athlete, is a state champion in the high jump and also competes in the 100-meter and 200-meter events. He also plays basketball and has expressed interest at playing basketball at the collegiate level.
In 2024, he shared pass-catching duties with Jacobe Hayes, who is now signed with the TCU Horned Frogs. In 2025, Robinson will be the leader of the Tigers’ offense.
