Ahead of his senior season with Mansfield Lake Ridge, five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo is one of the most sought-after uncommitted recruits in the nation.

Ojo, the No. 1 ranked recruit in Texas and 247Sports’ No. 7 recruit nationwide, has a 6-foot-7, 283-pound frame. He is a Star-Telegram First Team All-Area selection, and holds 50 offers from some of the premier programs.

In June, Ojo made official visits to Ohio State and Michigan, according to his social media. He has also visited Colorado, Florida, Ole Miss, Texas and Texas Tech. Ojo is no longer visiting Oklahoma and Notre Dame.

As a Texas high school football standout, he manhandles the competition with significant size and strength advantages. He is an Addidas All-American and a Polynesian Bowl All-Star. He is extremely confident and understands what he brings to the table.

“Match me up against any defensive player whether they’re in the class of 2026, 2025, or even 2024 and not a single one is beating me 1 on 1,” Ojo wrote on X. “That’s how elite I am, and very few are just now realizing it.”

Recruiting platforms such as On3Sports, 247Sports and Rivals predict Ojo will commit to Texas. His social media activity suggests that is a strong possibility. Ojo, who has another visit with Texas planned, commented on 2026 Waxahachie wide receiver Kohen Brown’s commitment to the Longhorns on June 8.

“Should we run it back just like middle school? #HookEm,” Ojo wrote on X.

He also told The Wolverine that Michigan stands very high with himself and his family.

Although Ojo is one of the best in Texas, the Lake Ridge Eagles have struggled to build a team around him. In 2024, Lake Ridge went 1-9, allowing 435 points while only scoring 176.

Another class of 2026 recruit to watch from Mansfield is Zion Robinson, a four-star wide receiver. He is 247Sports’ No. 10 class of 2026 player in Texas and No. 71 in the nation.

Robinson has visited Miami, Michigan, Texas Tech, Baylor, Texas A&M and Stanford, according to his social media. Robinson was scheduled for an official visit to TCU — the visit to the Horned Frogs’ is no longer happening.
