TCU football adds one of Louisiana’s top prospects to recruiting class
TCU football continued its recruiting momentum with the addition of one on the best prospects in Louisiana.
The Horned Frogs landed a commitment from three-star safety Rontrae Carter on Sunday, he announced on his social media.
Listed at 5-foot-11, 180 pounds stars at Archbishop Shaw in Marrero, located in the New Orleans metro area. Carter is a top-25 prospect in Louisiana, the No. 76 safety nationally and the No. 765 prospect nationally according to 247Sports.
Carter took an official visit to TCU on May 29 and then visited Houston, UNLV and Mississippi State before settling on the Horned Frogs.
TCU now has 18 commitments and the recruiting class finally cracked the top-50 nationally with the Horned Frogs slotted at No. 48. The recruiting class also ranks sixth in the Big 12.
