TCU football adds Fort Worth-area running back to growing recruiting class
TCU football has another added recruit to its growing class of 2027.
The Horned Frogs added running back Caris Sela on Monday afternoon and became the 12th recruit to commit to the program this month.
Sela is currently unranked but also held offers from Boise State and Washington State among others.
Listed at 6-foot, 190 pounds Sela stars at Northwest High in Justin, Texas. Sela had a breakout junior season with 251 carries for 1,670 yards and 15 touchdowns. Also caught 29 passes for 261 yards and one touchdown in 10 games.
TCU’s class now has 17 commitments and currently ranks No. 52 in the country and No. 8 in the Big 12 right behind Kansas and Cincinnati.
