Will it stay cold in Fort Worth after Halloween? What to expect for the weekend
Just in time for Halloween, Fort Worth weather will be cool.
The Fort Worth National Weather Service says the weekend of Oct. 31 will have “seasonable weather” with high temperatures in the 60s and lows in the 40s. There is also a small chance of showers Saturday morning.
It has been more than a month since fall began and North Texas had 90-degree weather eight times this October, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s historical climate data.
But forecasts are starting to promise cooler weather.
The NOAA released a three-month outlook for winter weather. Their prediction is above normal temperatures and equal chances (could be above, below or normal numbers) of precipitation. This means a warmer-than-normal winter with equal chances of rain.

Halloween weather in Fort Worth
The Fort Worth NWS predicts Halloween to have a high of 71 and a low of 49. During trick-or-treating hours (5 p.m. to 11 p.m.) there will be a high of 68 with a low of 57. Those outside can expect light winds with no chance of precipitation.
However, on Saturday, Nov. 1, there is a 20 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m. Other than that, it will be a high of 66 with a low of 44 and a 5 mph breeze.
Sunday will be clear and sunny with a high of 68 and low of 48.
Will it stay cold in Fort Worth?
Unfortunately, weather after Halloween weekend warms slightly but should still feel cool.
On Monday, Nov. 3, the temperature warms slightly with a high of 74 with a low of 51.
Tuesday will be a high of 76 with a low of 54. And Wednesday may be around a high of 79 degrees.
