More storms are coming to North Texas this week. See the latest forecast
After a rainy and windy weekend, storm chances will continue in North Texas this week.
A tornado warning was issued for a few counties, including Tarrant and Parker, on June 8 as strong storms rolled through the Metroplex, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. Parts of the region saw downed trees and flash flooding.
Strong to severe scattered storms are expected late Monday, June 9, into early Tuesday, June 10. The severe weather threat is low. However, the NWS said isolated large hail and gusty winds are possible.
Daily storm chances will stick around from Wednesday, June 11, through Friday, June 13.
The highest chances will be on Wednesday and Thursday, June 12, although the severe weather threat is low, according to the NWS. Locally heavy rain is also in the mix and could cause flooding in some areas.

Storm chances will continue into the weekend in North Texas.
As of Monday, there’s a 30% chance of storms on Saturday, June 14, and 20% on Sunday, June 15. Temperatures over the weekend will be in the low 90s.
