When will the cold end in Fort Worth? Here’s when to expect spring temperatures

After a rainy and chilly weekend, North Texas will see springtime weather this week.

Temperatures ranged from the low 40s to upper 50s over the weekend, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. It also rained in parts of the Metroplex, with 1.02 inches recorded on April 5 at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

The sun will be shining this week as temperatures continue to warm up over the next few days.

Monday, April 7, will be sunny, with temperatures in the mid-60s, according to the NWS. By Tuesday, April 8, temperatures will be in the low 70s.

Warm and sunny week to continue

Temperatures will continue to climb on Wednesday, April 9, as daily highs will be in the low 80s.

The same conditions are in store for later in the week as the sun continues to shine. Here’s a look at the projected highs this week in North Texas:

  • Monday, April 7- 66 degrees
  • Tuesday, April 8- 73 degrees
  • Wednesday, April 9- 83 degrees
  • Thursday, April 10- 80 degrees
  • Friday, April 11- 77 degrees
  • Saturday, April 12- 81 degrees
  • Sunday, April 13- 85 degrees
