Looking for a trusted place to rest and recharge in Texas? Two nationally-ranked retreats offer just that.

Siddhayatan Tirth & Spiritual Retreat Center in Windom and Retreat in the Pines in Mineola were named in the top 10 meditation centers in the U.S. on USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice list for 2025.

Ranked No. 7 and No. 8, respectively, both centers offer guided retreats focused on mindfulness, healing and stress relief, all within driving distance for North Texas travelers. They previously ranked at No. 4 and No. 7 on last year’s list.

Founded in 2008 by spiritual leader Acharya Shree Yogeesh, Siddhayatan Tirth & Spiritual Retreat Center sits on 250 acres of rolling hills in Windom, a small town northeast of Dallas.
